The ID Coach

March 11th, 2011

I am the resident digital identity coach. My name is Judi Clark. I’ve been involved with the subject of identity and identity management for many years. I’ve blogged (on other blogs) about this since late 2002, and have republished a few of those posts here, under the category of history.

Identity is the term for what makes us who we are. Most of us don’t think about it much. When we need to make a change in our lives, our old ways make it hard. It helps to know what holds us to the past. We need to address some part of ourselves before we can make a change into who we want to be.

I’ve gone through my share of changes, and I’m absolutely certain that I have more to go. I generally like change. It’s not always good to me, but change is one of the constants in our lives. Like the little kid that has to stick his finger into the candle’s flame or stick a paper clip into the power plug, it’s how we gather information, which helps us control our lives. (If you’ve ever done this, you’ll probably never do it again.) I’d rather know about the world than think that everything is a mystery that I can’t do anything about. Perhaps you know something about this kind of thinking?

About me:

With you, I am a world class explorer. I have more questions than you’ll ever use. You can call on me to help you figure out who you are, who you want to be, and how to get there.

I am a personal coach, and a group coach. If you want to get personal about your self (or selves), let’s talk and see if I can be of help to you.

I am a business coach for companies who wish to understand who they are and what path they might take into this new “social media” world. I am a unique interpreter and trail guide, and I am here to support your interests.

My practice:

Each of my posts will include a Coaching Moment that will hopefully help you spot lessons that can be learned from every day situations. I will arrange online and Hawaii-based small group exercises that help us learn about our individual stories. Some events will be free, and others for a fee. Watch for my calendar to appear.

If you want to do some personal exploring, let’s talk.

After all, it’s not about me. It’s about you.
